Nokuthula was elected to the role of SAACHS National Deputy Secretary at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Ms Nokuthula Ndou is a committed and results-focused Social Worker with over 17 years of professional experience. She has extensive expertise in trauma-informed practice and safeguarding within higher education environments. Her core competencies include case management, survivor-centred support, policy development, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and the implementation of institutional gender-based violence (GBV) prevention initiatives.

As a GBV Ambassador at the University of Limpopo, she is dedicated to promoting safe, inclusive, and equitable learning spaces. She has also completed First Responder training, equipping her to provide immediate and appropriate support to trauma survivors within higher education institutions.

Ms Ndou conducts psychosocial assessments and facilitates referral services for students experiencing financial hardship, substance use challenges, mental health concerns, and gender-based violence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Social Work.
