Programme formats
We particularly like formats that are collaborative. Our programme will include:
- keynote addresses,
- interactive plenary presentations,
- round table forums,
- panel discussions
- and research presentations.
Presentation content
Sessions last between 30 and 45 minutes and must be relevant to higher education healthcare professionals. The following types of presentations are well received:
- those with a practical learning focus,
- best practice case studies,
- real-life experiences and practical takeaways
- and research studies.
We encourage presenters to share best practices and offer information that is not easily found via self-study or other educational events.
What we need
Submit a one page proposal containing:
- Presentation Title and one paragraph synopsis (answer the question why delegates should be excited about this session)
- Target audience and level of expertise
- Previous speaker engagements and links to videos
- Preferred presentation type e.g. plenary, panel, round tables etc.
- Brief speaker biography, including social media links
A note on suppliers and sales pitches
Suppliers are generally required to exhibit in order to be considered as speakers, except in cases where the proposed presentation is of significant value for the delegates.
Sales/product pitch presentations are expressly discouraged. Our delegates expect quality content that is relevant and credible. Speaking at our conference is an exceptional way to build brand awareness for you and your organisation and to network with higher education healthcare decision-makers.
Speakers and presentations
Speakers will be featured on the SAACHS website. We will ask you to complete a brief profile and upload headshot photo, session details, etc. Presentations are typically made available for download once the conference has concluded.
