Dr (Professor) Ramneek Ahluwalia is a qualified physician, Health, Social and Education Systems, Policy Development and Management Specialist.
Currently Chief Executive Officer of Higher Health, he has extensive experience at the intersection of health, education, policy and systems leadership. A Professor of Practice in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Johannesburg and an Adjunct Faculty Fellow at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, York University (Canada), he has led large-scale, data-driven health programmes across South Africa, Europe and Asia.
Dr Ahluwalia has served on national ministerial task teams covering COVID-19, mental health, HIV, TB, GBV and NHI, and has designed award-winning public-private partnerships, including digital health platforms used by millions. Recognised among the Top 10 CEOs in South Africa (2023), he is a widely published author, global speaker and a leading voice on innovation in health and higher education.
