Conference thank you

To all of our Members and Partners, thank you for your commitment to our organisation. May we all put our hands to the plough and grow SAACHS for the benefit of our students and all the workers that serve them.

It was such a pleasure to share three days of engagement, fun and so much learning with you at our Annual Conference at the Lagoon Beach Hotel and Spa at the beginning of January.

As the NEC of SAACHS, we wish to thank each one of you for your presence and for graciously giving of your time and cheerful spirit to be at the conference.

SAACHS is designed to be an organisation that meets the needs of its affiliates and fulfils a purpose for each one of you. It is with this in mind that we hope that this 2023 conference fulfilled this purpose. After a two year hiatus, getting personal was just about the best thing ever. We hope you renewed friendships and created new ones.

To our speakers and guests, sponsors and exhibitors, you all contributed immensely in ways words cannot express. We look forward to growing the exhibition space of our conferences and the spin-off it will have to our exhibitors. In addition, we hope it will truly spill off to the institutions and result in a quality of care that par excellence compared to non-other.

As we get back to the grind, remember to be mindful and present, lean on your support systems, use media for the benefit of your students and avoid burnout, manage mindsets in healthcare, support focused programme areas, get those health passports sorted, never forget that you are practicing ina legal space and live life to the full.
